Power point, Video available. Cameras are all around the room. Author has some mobility, can walk around between long rows of students. Need to know if Clements is bringing a PowerPoint. If so, who will advance the slides? They will create a video opening to be used for all EAVs.They will create graphics for the EAV- book covers, etc.Interview with the author will be filmed in Burris Library on March 17.March 18 EAV will be filmed in Burris Studio. March 19 Video Conferences will be filmed at Burris Studio. Lesson plan notes:Use format on handout. Use bullet points to make it user friendly. Be sure to identify National Standards. (NCTE) List themes and number of minutes for the lesson. Make sure to include a sample of all manipulatives. All manipulatives should have student directions written directly on them. Rough Drafts for lesson plans are due on the blog by January 31. Final drafts are due Feb 28. Kelly is developing lesson plans based on No Talking. She is looking at affective and academic ideas. William is developing lessons based on School Story. Students from Rodger’s and Stacy’s rooms will be participating in Book Talks about the books. Chris Rodgers is creating lessons based on The Landry News. Target dates for videotaping are April 1-4Jennifer Stacy is creating lessons based on Report Card. Hello everyone! I just took a few minutes to jot down what we talked about last week.

EAV Dates for Andrew Clements- March 17, 18, and 19; Jon Scieszka April 28, 29, 30
To do:
1. Create a list of interview questions- Who needs to do this, what is the target date for this list?
2. Questions for Clements: Who needs to do this, what is the target date for this list?
A. What media will you want to bring: PowerPont, Video?
B. Will you want to read any passages from your books? Can you tell us page and paragraph # so the production team can make graphics of these?
C. Will you want to interact with student audience during the broadcast? What props will be needed for this?
3. Identify Elementary students for Book Talks. Set up video taping for these.
4. Ask about video conferences for Stacy and Rodgers 10-10:45 on March 19
5. Get image release forms for elementary students: Mitchell, Cowan, Washington-Carver
6. Write lesson plans- see notes below
